ANN SUTHERLAND (BYRON) (nee NYKOLYSHYN) May 16, 1918 - March 2, 2012 Peacefully and surrounded by family, Ann passed away at Selkirk Hospital on March 2, 2012 at age 93. Ann will be sadly missed by her sisters Marie, Stella, Gloria and Pauline; seven children, Wally Byron, Jannette Blandford, Sharon (Rob) Erickson, Sandra (Merv) Suski, Rolly (Colleen) Byron, Sheila (Darryl) Roach, Blair (Kristie) Byron; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Ann resided at Lions Manor for many years before moving to Red River Place after a stroke in 2009. Her favourite pastimes were bowling, bingo and cards. She was known to be quite a jokester and well liked by all. The family would like to thank the staff at Red River Place and the hospital for their support and kindness. Special thanks to Dr. Lindenschmidt. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
