MARGUERITE BEATRICE SPROUL 1922 - 2012 On March 11, 2012 after a lengthy illness, at the age of 90, Marguerite passed away peacefully in her sleep at Misericordia Place. She is predeceased by her father, mother and her brother Harold. She is survived by her sister Shirley King and Shirley's family Curtis (Julie), April (Paulo), Breanne (Kenny), Dayle Johnson (Ron), Bradley (Amanda), Brian (Joanne), Michael, Andrew, Joanna, Joshua and Danielle. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary and her family, Lynn, Linda, Wendy and Robert. In her youth Marguerite was very interested in her art work and crafts. At the outbreak of the Second World War she enlisted in the W.R.C.N.S. (Navy Wrens). She re-enlisted at the outbreak of the Korean War as Sub/Lieutenant. She later went on to work for the Government in Supply and Services until her retirement. As per Marguerite's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. At a later date, there will be a small family service. If you wish to remember Marguerite, a donation to an animal shelter would be appreciated.
