DONALD MURRAY STEWART On March 24, 2012, at the Selkirk General Hospital, Murray Stewart, aged 79 years, of Selkirk, beloved husband of Wanitta. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the Good Shepherd Church, Selkirk. Full obituary will follow. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.

  • 46 years ago Murray and 'Nita were the "halfway house" at Le Pas when I was enroute to Flin Flon or the next year when I worked in Thomson for the summer. Your hospitality was greatly appreciated as it seemed such a long way to drive at the time. I recall your penchant for onion rings from the local KFC.   • Murray hired me and I worked for him and with him for quite a few years. He was one of the nicest, honest, easy going guys I have ever had the chance to meet. He exemplified decency, integrity, loyalty and sportsmanship.
