Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHOWARD BRUCE SMITH It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Howard Bruce Smith, age 91 years at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, Brandon on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 1:30 pm. The Rev. Laird Russell Yearwood will officiate. Interment will follow in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Howard to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation for the Residence - Western Manitoba Cancer Centre, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, MB R7A 2B3 or to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba -Westman Region, Unit 4B-457-9th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 1K2. I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Howard B. Smith. Howard was a member of the IATSE for almost 67 years. He worked as a projectionist in one of the local theatres in Brandon until his retirement. He originally joined the IA in 1945 as a member of Local 299 Projectionists until Local 299 merged with Local 63 in 1999.
