We both have cancer and had hysterectomy n I was released a day ahead of her. I had chemo n radiation treatments n phoned her 3 times n she told me she had a lump n quit her job. Susan and I worked together in San Carlos City hospital, Philippines early 2000..She is assigened in Operating Room, and I in Delivery Room. We worked the same schedule most of the time..So we got really close, I often go to the OR or She goes to DR if not busy in the unit..We shared good stories, eat together..I really missed the way we were!!! She used to bring me tarts because she loves to bake. We came here in Canada the same year, but she went to Winnipeg and I ended here in B.C., We talked over the phone more than a year ago, we talked about our struggles living in a foreign country. Till then, we lost contact, I guess we both were busy in our lives..I wished I could have spend time talking to her before she's gone! God knows how much I adore her..I will terribly miss her!!! - Posted by: JOAN LIM (friend) on: Mar 29, 2012
