My daddy was the best!! I was daddy's little girl, we did everything together! We were very close. A part of me died on April 4 2012. I miss you daddy everyday! Everyone says that time will heal and it will get easier. I don't believe that..not right now anyway cause time doesn't heal. It actually is getting harder to function knowing my daddy won't be coming back. I would do anything just to hear your voice, your laugh, to give you a hug and tell you I LOVE YOU again!!! I LOVE YOU FOREVER DADDY, until we see each other again. oxoxox - Posted by: Rhonda (Daughter) on: Oct 01, 2012

We met Ray and Millie In January of 1980. Since then our friendship has remained a solid and close one. Raymond was always ready to help anyone at a moments notice. Even though in failing health, he and his wife came with me and my wife to Churchill to help us move in 2003 when our health made it necessary for us to leave to get medical attention. He really enjoyed the fresh Artic Air. He and I walked about a mile, where in the city he had trouble walking a few blocks. He was passionate about Flora Place. A place he called home for many years. He asked me to help him and his neighbours to keep their beloved home because the city and province had promised for 9 years to establish a new housing facility at or near Flora Place. He was a strong defender of his friends and neighbours. In nine months we had acomplished what had not been done in 9 years, the project was started and completed. My fondest memory was when my wife and I had moved of the project and into our home, Ray came over to help me change plugs in an old police car I had. After two hours in the hot sun, Ray said,"I think a coffee break will help those two plugs loosen up". After Tim Horton's coffee and a donut sure enough the plugs let go and we were able to finish the job. My favorite answer was when I called Ray and ask him how he was doing ? I got the reply,"LIKE THE WIND RON LIKE THE WIND". No one anywhere could ask for a better, more loyal and helpful friend. Anyone who was lucky enough to meet him would never regret the meeting. Ray was a man of great integrity, loyalty and compassion. He loved and cherished his whole family and would help anyone out no matter what his circumstances at the time were. The world was a better place because Raymond Georgetts was in it. We who knew him were better people because Raymond made us better people for knowing him. God needed a good Angel and he chose Raymond to help. Rest in peace Raymond. Ronnie Bugera - Posted by: Ronnie Bugera (friend of 31 years) on: Apr 07, 2012
