Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHANDROWTIE LEILA NOWRANG Chandrowtie Leila Nowrang (nee Ramjass) passed away following a lengthy illness. She succumbed to Lymphoma on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Central Park Lodge - Poseidon at the age of 62 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her family: daughter Kamala Nowrang (David Ramsammy), granddaughters Maya Ramsammy and Nina Ramsammy; son Deo (Nalini) Nowrang, grandson Krishant Nowrang, and Jaya Nowrang; son Manoj (Sharon) Nowrang, grandsons Brett Nowrang and Joshua Chaitram, granddaughters Skylar Nowrang, Kaidyn Nowrang, and Aurora Nowrang; daughter Nadera Nowrang and granddaughter Ayana Miller; her brother Sono Ramjass, sister Sheila Gokal, and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Harry and Kay Persaud, Jay and Elaine Jairam, Joe and Rita Surajbali, Cliff Persaud, and Pooran and Pearly Singh, as well as her numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Nowrang who passed away Remembrance Day (November 11, 1996), her mother and father Breeze Ramjass and Roni Ramjass, and her brothers Babaugi, Papalo and Lalo Ramjass. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillvray Blvd. In memory of Chandrowtie Leila Nowrang donations can be made to the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society, 100 - 4 Fort Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1C4. This note is especially to Nadera whom I knew at Lavallee School. Seeing the obituary in the paper brought back memories of your early care for your mother and father. I know it was not an easy journey, and you must be hoping your mother is now at peace.
