PETER MARCYNIUK December 23, 1925 - April 11, 2012 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Marcyniuk of Dallas, Manitoba, on April 11, 2012, at the age of 86 years. Peter was born in Dallas, he resided and farmed there all of his life. In the fall of 2011 he moved to the Chalet in Fisher Branch. He was the second youngest of twelve children born to Aurthur Marcyniuk and Irene (Barnetsky). Peter was predeceased by all but one brother, Mike, who lives in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A special thank you to Bob Schreyer and all the homecare workers for their kindness while looking after Peter. We are also very grateful to Donna Marcyniuk for all she did over the past months. Uncle Peter was a farmer at heart. He tried his hand at pigs, cattle and grain. He was mechanically inclined and tinkered with all his machinery hoping to keep them working. His love of goose hunting kept him busy and his freezer full in his earlier days. He also had a strong passion for water skiing and would ask anyone with a boat to take him out. His garden was always full of nice fresh vegetables. Rest in Peace Uncle Peter Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Dallas Red Rose Community Hall, with Father Chuckry officiating.
