Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGAETANA PELLETTIERI September 27, 1937 - April 17, 2012 Sadly, the family announces the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Gaetana. Gaetana passed away on April 17, 2012. Leaving to mourn her passing is her loving husband of 53 years, Michele; their children Mario (Nadine, granddaughter Jeanine), Giuseppina, Rosamaria (Robert, grandson Chandler) Turkula, and Michelina. Along with her surviving sisters, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law in Italy and Winnipeg, her numerous nieces, nephews and friends, she will be missed by many. Mom was a woman with unstoppable energy; whether it was gardening, cooking or sewing, her loving, nurturing hands were felt by family and friends alike. Her two grandchildren were her great joy and blessing and family was the most important. Mom was predeceased by her beloved son Dominico, and although it is with heavy hearts that we see her go, knowing she is in the arms of Jesus and in Dominico's company again gives us a measure of peace. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, April 25 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. at 10:00 a.m. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m., also at the church. Lena, Josie & family, my heart goes out to you all in your time of sorrow. I will miss seeing your Mom at Essenza, when she'd pop in with all sorts of goodies for you girls and recipes for me.
