Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANE SHIRLEY DIEHL Diane Diehl of Wawanesa, Manitoba passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 56 years. Left to mourn Diane's passing are sister Linda (Bruce) Thompson of Sanford, MB, brother Raymond Diehl of Winnipeg Beach, MB, nieces and nephews Mark Thompson, Donna-Lynne Lavigne, and Matthew Diehl, great-nieces and nephews Daniel, Jeremy and Shelby, as well as extended relatives and many friends. Diane was predeceased by her parents Stewart and Dorothy (nee Green) Diehl and sister-in-law Marlene Diehl. A Celebration of Diane's life will be held at Wawanesa United Church at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2012, with Rev. Mark Murray and Shirley McBurney officiating. Following the service, a reception will be held in the Wawanesa Hall. Everyone is welcome. Interment to follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Holland, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane's Memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Unit 3, 824 18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 5B7 or to the Wawanesa United Church Memorial Fund, Wawanesa, MB R0K 2G0. I have never met Diane, but got to know her as an 'online' friend. Her notes were always cheerful and I've been missing her comments for several months and when Linda told me she was ill, we prayed for her.
