RALPH WAIT It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arnold Ralph Wait on Friday, April 20, 2012, at the age of 77. Ralph was predeceased by his wife Theresa in 2005. Ralph is survived by his two brothers Les and Ken (Bev); three sons, Larry (Leona), Neil and Perry (Shelley); five grandchildren Amanda, Dustin, Melissa (Derek), Daniel and Dayna and one great-grandchild Kianna. Ralph was born in Birch Hill, Saskatchewan, to his parents Jane and Arnold Wait. Later, his parents moved to Manitoba with him and his two brothers. Ralph eventually made his home in Selkirk, where he started a family with Theresa and worked a number of jobs until he got hired on at Manitoba Rolling Mills, where he retired. During his years with Theresa they enjoyed going on holidays, fishing, playing cards and camping. They both enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren. Ralph had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a hand. He was not only a great dad but a great father, grandfather and for the last few years great-grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him. Special Thanks for Selkirk General Hospital for the care and support you provided him. The family really appreciates all that you have done. A celebration of Ralph's life is to be held at Gilbart Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Ralph's memory may be made to Selkirk General Hospital, Palliative Care.
