ANNIE TALAGA (nee PODAIMA) Our loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Percy E. Moore Hospital in Hodgson, MB. She was born in Zbaraz, MB on December 29, 1912 to John and Maria Podaima. Mom leaves to mourn her family Tillie and Edward Malenchak, Margaret Swar, Leonard Talaga, John and Gladys Talaga; 17 grand-children; 34 great grandchildren; nine great- great-grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. Mom, at the age of 12 years, worked for Weinstocks store in Hodgson, MB for five years. Later she married Dad, John Talaga, on November 15, 1931. They farmed and lived in Broad Valley, MB. Mom loved her animals and the outdoor nature life. She did not like chemicals or sprays. She was a great cook and host. Cremation has taken place. The memorial mass will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Fisher Branch, MB. The Holy Eucharist will be celebrated by Father Paul Bisson. Interment will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Zbaraz, MB. The family sends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped our mother. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. FISHER FUNERAL HOME INC. In care of arrangements.
