BOZENA BOHNA October 6, 1938 April 20, 2012 It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Bozena Bohna on Friday, April 20, 2012. Forever giving, her kindness and caring touched the lives of many, and her love and devotion to family was endless. Those she knew were immediately embraced by her warmth, charm and gentle nature. She was the kindest, most honest and selfless soul we knew and we thank the Lord for taking her hand peacefully and without pain, to be with her beloved Mom. Her light will shine brightly forever. Bozena is survived by her loving husband Fridrich (Frici), son Juraj and wife Sondra, and her precious grandkids, Gabrielle and Addison. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Luke's Catholic Church (corner of Northmount Drive and Northland Drive NW, Calgary, AB), on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke's Catholic Church (corner of Northmount Drive and Northland Drive NW, Calgary, AB), on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with The Rev. Alfredo Pereira, Presider. For our many friends in Winnipeg, a Celebration of Bozena's life is being planned to take place in Winnipeg toward the end of May. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Bozena's family through www.evanjstrong.com. Mom prayed daily to see a cure for her grandson Addison, and would have greatly appreciated donations made to the J.D.R.F. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (2550 Victoria Park Avenue, Suite 800, Toronto, ON, M2J 5A9, www.jdrf.ca), in lieu of flowers. Arrangements in care of Evan J.   • It is with regret that I heard of the premature passing of Bozena. My condolences to you, Fred, and also to your beloved children and grand-children. I had the pleasure of meeting Bozena when Louise and Aurèle (Campeau) moved to Kelowna. What a treat it was to be so graciously hosted when we stopped in Calgary. I will never forget the gourmet meal she prepared for us. How so very welcomed we were made to feel! Although I had not met her previously, I felt like I had known her all my life. I wish I had.
