FRANDSEN (nee PROUSE) November 27, 1925 - April 22, 2012 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Joyce, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, aged 86 years, of Selkirk MB at the Health Sciences Centre. She is survived by her son, Rick Ross (Gwen); three grandsons, James (Audrey), Jeff (Kimberly) and Clayton; her precious great- grandsons Jayce, Liam, and Rylen; stepson Ole Frandsen of Naples, Italy; dear sister-in-law Gwen Milne and numerous nieces, nephews, and longtime friends. Joyce is predeceased by her first husband Ken Ross (1954), second husband Frands Frandsen (1991) as well as her youngest son Glen Frandsen (1999). Joyce's life was dedicated to her family, we have been blessed to have so many cherished memories. Mom will be dearly missed by friends and family for her stimulating intellectual conversations and caring approach to life and people. Joyce was an active volunteer for many organizations, The Centennial School reading program held a very special place in her heart as she was an avid reader. Mom loved the game of golf with a love she shared with her grandsons. Mom also loved to travel, and was able to make many trips, south during the winter months for extended periods and overseas, to many European countries. We would like to thank; The Selkirk General Hospital Staff and the H.S.C. for everything they did for mom. At mom's request there will be no service. Rest in Peace. Mom, you are loved dearly.
