Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRALPH J. PALMER 1920 - 2012 Ralph passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Enid, son Bill, daughter Diane (Larry) Trudeau, Bonnie Palmer and grandchildren Kristine (Rodd Carroll) Trudeau, Michael Trudeau, Daniel (Natalee) Palmer, and niece Joan Stewart-Jones. He was predeceased by his parents William and Beatrice Palmer and sister Phyllis (Doug) Stewart. After attending schools Isaac Brock and Daniel McIntyre, in 1940 he joined the R.C.A.F., where he became a pilot and flew combat missions in Lancaster Bombers. After the War he was employed by the City of Winnipeg Assessment Department for 38 years. He met his wife, Enid, while overseas and they married in 1947. Ralph was a Past Master of Lord Selkirk Lodge A.O.M. and member of Khartoum Shriner's Drum Corps. He was a keen golfer and one time member of Southwood and Bel Acres. He had at least 80 years of happy memories of Lac Lu, Ontario. Sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and health care aides of 3 South of Grace Hospital. Cremation and private family interment are planned at Ralph's request. Thank you for all the love and support by the Beauchemin Park Place residents. Condolences to Enid and the family. I remember how patient Ralph would be when Enid was doing just one more thing for one of her various schools and the many kids in libraries that she helped in Winnipeg SD.
