Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA HAGENLOCHER February 12, 1926 - April 23, 2012 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Maria (Grandma) on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Grace Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband Fritz of 40 years. Her children Peter (Linda), David and Rob; grandchildren Christina (Tom), Samantha and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren Hannah, Caitlin and Jackson and two brothers Tony and Nick (Liz). Maria was born and raised in Croatia; in 1954 she came to Canada and settled in Winnipeg, MB. Maria was a very talented seamstress, and an amazing cook. She also had a passion for flowers, you could often find Maria and Fritz enjoying the day admiring the flowers in the English Gardens. Maria was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother a truly giving person and will be forever missed. To the wonderful staff at the Grace Hospital, your caring and compassion is sincerely appreciated. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
