Mrs. Piasecki was the librarian at my school for years, and I went to church with her. She held a soft spot in my heart, and I will always remember her as being a quiet, straight-forward, wonderful person. Condolences to her family and all that knew her - Posted by: Stacey Leggett () on: May 13, 2012

Gale cheerfully walked our son back and forth to school. I knew by Luke's stories that she talked to him everyday teaching him about the world around him. Her concern for him was genuine. I think of her often as she was a great help to me when my children were small. - Posted by: Lorie Fiddler (neighbor) on: May 05, 2012

Gale was the best babysitter ever. She looked after my sister Louise as well and we loved her. We were neighbours on Superior Avenue and we always had fun playing with Gale. She was the best! Our heartfelt sympathies from our family to yours. - Posted by: Joan Stewart (Collison) (Babysitter and friend) on: May 02, 2012

There are so many stories I remember about Gale. She made every event interesting; from lunch after church at her kitchen table to New Year's Eve progressive parties from house to house. Gale would make you laugh. Her sharp wit brought the events into clear focus. She was always there to lend a helping hand. Even when she was miffed she made you smile with her take of events. She worked so very hard at the church. There was no job she would not take on to make it better for all. I will remember the kindness and support she offered anyone who she saw needed a helping hand. Dick and Paul our thoughts are with you and may you find peace in the joyful thoughts Gale left for us all. - Posted by: Terry Sheldon (Friend) on: May 01, 2012

I have fond memories of working with Gale in the school libraries system. She was a deeply committed, highly respected professional with a great sense of humor. Please accept my sincere condolences on her passing; and please know that many of us have Gale, and her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Barbara Kelly (workplace colleague) on: May 01, 2012
