My dearest Baba, Not a day goes by that I do not think of you. I miss you so much. Your robust spirit that kept this family together; the matriarch of our family who was respected by all. I have so many wonderful early childhood memories on the farm with you that I will forever cherish and that I share with my children today. I am so glad that my son Sabatino shared that wonderful day with you a few years ago, he still talks about the popcorn you shared with him and the birdie you had on your balcony. I wish my daughter Valentina could have had the pleasure of meeting you my dear Baba. I promise you she will get to know you through my stories, memories and pictures of you.
