WILHELMINA (EVA) SELMAN Peacefully on Monday, April 30, 2012, at Tuxedo Villa, Eva Selman passed away at the age of 97 years, with family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter in 1999. Mom leaves to cherish her memory daughter Elizabeth (Errol), daughter Pat (Tom) and son Bill (Lynn); seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Bill Barker (Vi); sister Cecil Allen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was born in 1914 and lived her entire life in Ft. Garry. She will be remembered for the compassionate care she provided to family, friends and neighbours. She had a very special relationship with her grandson, Andrew. The family wishes to thank the staff and Station One in Tuxedo Villa for their loving and respectful care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Eva's memory to the Victoria Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 2E8, or a charity of one's choice. There will be a private interment for family members at 12:00 p.m. on May 4, 2012 at Thomson In the Park , 1291 McGillivray Blvd. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 830 North Drive in Ft. Garry, also on May 4, 2012.
