JEAN ELIZABETH BROWNLEE It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Jean Elizabeth Brownlee on May 2, 2012 at Victoria General Hospital. Jean is survived by her husband Bob, son Rod and his wife Dale Brownlee, and daughter Debbie and her husband Gary Bullock. Grammie will also be fondly remembered by grandchildren Jamie (Salena) and Jason (Laura) Brownlee, Kendra (Darryl), Greg and Bryce Bullock, and two dear great-grandsons Austin and Alex. Jean was born in Woodstock, New Brunswick to Maude and Donald Manzer. She was proud to be of United Empire Loyalist descent. Jean and her parents lived in Saint John, New Brunswick where, in 1945, she met and married Robert G. Brownlee. Following their marriage Bob and Jean settled in Toronto, relocating in later years to Portage la Prairie and Winnipeg, Manitoba. For the past four and a half years, Jean and Bob have lived at Lindenwoods Terrace where they made many good friends and enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. Jean was an only child but had a dear Aunt Jean and eight wonderful Slipp cousins she visited every summer in Woodstock. She had happy memories of youthful summers spent at a Browns Flat cottage by the Saint John River and the beach, at Duck Cove by the Bay of Fundy. In later years, Jean enjoyed visits to West Hawk Lake in the Whiteshell where the scenery reminded her of home . Jean and Bob had a long, happy life - till we meet again. As per Jean's request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Flowers respectfully declined. THOMSON IN THE PARK 925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com
