BENOIT (BEN) RICHARD GAUTHIER HOLOWACHUK A family of three we shall be. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Benoit (Ben) Richard Gauthier Holowachuk directly into God's hands on Monday, April 30, 2012. He weighed six pounds, eight ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Though he never had a chance to cry or open his eyes for us, we considered ourselves a family of four and were anxiously awaiting the healthy arrival of Hot Wheels in May. Ben is survived by his Greatest Big Brother in the Whole Wide World, Chase Holowachuk; his Dad, Colin Holowachuk; and his Mama Malissa Gauthier. Ben is also survived by Granny Jo-Ann Gauthier, Baba Pat and Gigi Dave Holowachuk, Uncle Brock Holowachuk, Auntie Carolyn Ryan and cousins Claire and Kate Holowachuk, Uncle Daymond Gauthier, Auntie Alana Gauthier and cousins Rebeka and Travis Gauthier. We would like to thank Dr. McCarthy and Dr. Cameron and the wonderful nurses in LDRP at St. Boniface Hospital for their excellent care. Michelle, Noreen and Esther were our constant companions through those three days filled with fear, grief and rare but much needed laughter. Michelle especially will always have a place in our hearts. We can only hope to pay such kindness and compassion forward. For Janie - you are without compare. Thank you - for walking, for listening, for laughing, for staying. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. A private interment of ashes will take place in the St. Vital Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Children's Wish Foundation. THOMSON IN THE PARK 925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com
