HEDY GERTRUDE WESTERMAN (nee AMMETER) May 23, 1924 - May 3, 2012 Peacefully on Thursday, May 3, 2012 Hedy Gertrude Westerman passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 87 years. Hedy was predeceased by her parents Gotthilf and Klara Ammeter, two brothers Edmund, and Bill Ammeter, one sister Johanna. Hedy is survived by her nephew Corrie, numerous family and close friends. Hedy worked for Great West Life until her retirement at which time she enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends having coffee. Celebration of Hedy's life will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematorium, 1800 Day Street at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hedy's name to the C.N.I.B.
