Our family visits to uncle Wally and aunty Do's farm. and cottage in Gimli were some of the happiest times in my childhood. It was always my job to get the eggs from the chicken barn. One of the worst experiences of my life was painting that barn yellow. I got paint everywhere and the brush glued to my hand. I swore I would never paint anything again. I ended up a painter. :) thank you uncle Wally. You were a good man! - Posted by: murray ankrom (nephew) on: May 23, 2012

My sympathies to the family. I thoroughly enjoyed taking Mom and Dad to visit Wallace and Doris at the farm while all were still able to travel. He and mom shared the same birth date and seemed to have a special connection. There was always lots of joking and laughs. They were great visits. - Posted by: Hazel Bochinski (distat cousin) on: May 19, 2012
