I would like to give out my condolences to the family and friends of Gary. My mother (Cheryl) And Step-Father (Paul) were friends with him as well as my sister, brother, and I. He was always an upbeat fun person, and I would always joke around with him about selling me his Cadillacs. Boy did he love his cars. :) I am sorry to hear about his situation and his family as well as him will be in my prayers. REST IN PARADISE HOMIE!! :) xoxoxoxo - Posted by: Jennifer Hewton (Friend) on: Jun 21, 2012

What a sad day when I heard that Gary passed suddenly. Our family lived on Machray and Gary was our paperboy for many years. He would drive my Dad nuts by throwing the newspaper from the front street onto our front landing, usually hitting the front door with a loud bang during suppertime! Being a little kid, I thought it was pretty cool. My Dad would then make Gary sweat when it was "Collection Time" every 2 weeks. Gary would carry his heavy newspaper bag with the bag strap against his forehead and the bag resting on his back, trudging thru the snow or rain. Gary was a tribute to all the characters that lived in the North End! We hope he can now deliver the daily news in his unique style to the many departed North-Enders! Rest in Peace Gary! - Posted by: Bob Chomyn (Neighbourhood Resident) on: May 22, 2012

As a friend of his sister Debbie, I knew Gary as always looking out for the best for his sister. He was a man of strong will, good temper and common sense. I knew him as ALWAYS being friendly and always helping a friend when he can. Thanks so much Gary - Posted by: James Baty (Friend ) on: May 20, 2012
