Sorry to hear the passing of Leonard as I know him. It was many many many yrs, since he and Marie and one of the children were here visiting the Huff homestead in Hazeldine area. I know we had a long chat with them, especally Uncle Melvin and Leonard. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Huff family and relatives of the family and our prayers are with you all. For I know that Leonard is walking hand in hand with his wife Marie and also with with Lord on Streets of Gold where there is no more pain or suffering. Lord take care of them and watch over them. Also Lord watch over the Huff family that are here grieving for the loss of a loved one. Protect them and guide their ways to serve you better. May God Bless and Keep The Faith. Amen.. - Posted by: Harvey Evison (Cousin) on: May 23, 2012

My sincere condolences to the entire family. My thoughts are with you as you prepare to say goodbye. My favorite memory of Uncle Len was when he and Aunty Marie would come and visit George and Jean in the summers. He loved to tease us kids and I always remember his huge happy smile all the time. My love to you all!!!!! - Posted by: Nannette Gretton (Daughter of Pattie- Lens niece) on: May 22, 2012

I remember when I was very young when grandma and him came down to visit us. He sat at the kitchen table with me and spent forever teaching me how to roll my tongue. It was silly and I'll always remember it. I'll miss you. - Posted by: Caitlin Beaumont (Grandchild) on: May 22, 2012

It seems like Uncle Len and Aunty Marie were always in our lives, I'll miss them both very much! Len liked to go fishing and spent a lot of time fishing with Dad. Marie and Mom enjoyed being together and doing what they liked to do. Rest in peace uncle. Sorry we can't make it down for the funeral. - Posted by: Angela and Wayne Sherwood, Cyndi and Kris ierone and Family. (Niece, Nephew) on: May 22, 2012

We would like to offer our condolences to the entire family and all extended families and friends. This picture brings me back to time when I knew Leonard much better and saw him at least a few times a year. Unfortunately time has been lost and now many regrets of missed opportunities. I remember the laughs, giggles and smart remarks quite well and if banter were an olympic sport, Uncle Leonard would've taken GOLD. We used to love trying to out do each other with our fake arguments and jesting. I know he will be missed by many and I wish we would've taken the time to see him more recently as I cannot pinpoint the last time I did see him. He will be happy to be joking around with Walter again and teasing Marie and Beatrice as well; they both did a great job at that. Walter will be happy to have a break from the girls! Rest well Leonard, it's time for your family reunion of all those that have passed before you. - Posted by: Wanda, Randy & Blaise Huff (Nephew, Neice (in-law) & great nephew) on: May 22, 2012

I will always remember his smiling happy face. When he came out to Alberta for a trip with the other Huffs and brought the van, I took over as chauffer driver so they wouldn't get lost in Calgary. Uncle Len said...your good do you want to drive back to Winnipeg too! I will miss his relationship with Mom, they always talked weekly about everything. Now they are up in Heaven together with their spouses, fishing and camping together. Til we meet again. - Posted by: Katherine Sutherland (Neice) on: May 22, 2012
