DORA ELIZABETH RUTH SCHULTZ October 27, 1932 - May 22, 2012 Ruth passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a short battle with cancer. She was predeceased by son Kent. She leaves to mourn her husband Bill Schultz, children Bev Flockton (Brian), Debbie Allan (Bruce), Cathy Thompson (Mark), and Bobby Schultz (Barb). She will be missed by her grandchildren Scott (Nancy), Todd, Kelsey, Kalli (Troy), Jodie (Dany), Adam, Ray, Jordan, and Ashley. Ruth was Grandma 2 to Owen, Cole, Acadia, and Noah. She is also survived by siblings Scotty (Lissi), Terry, Jimmy, Anne, Martha, Nellie, and too many beloved nieces and nephews to list. Funeral services will be held at the Alonsa Community Centre, Alonsa, MB on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Donations can be made to CancerCare. Grandma loved to watch her Hummingbirds zip through the flowers, so flowers are graciously accepted.   • I met Ruth when she married my dear cousin Bill Schultz when he was 19 and I was 9. My Dad, Art Turner, said Ruth was the best person that had ever happened to our Billie. Wow...was that ever true! Ruth became a mentor to me. She taught me a lot about being a wife and Mother. She was one of the most spirited, strong women I had ever met. The world has lost one of it's stars. I shall always remember your pure soul and your kind heart. I shall miss you... what a blessing you have been in my life. Rest in peace Ruth. You have earned your transition to a much better place and to eternity.
