• I worked with Shane in Fort Mcmurray briefly, when he worked for Transalta. And that smile of his would light up any room! Riley & Axel will miss him terribly - they were such good friends all through Junior High & High School. • Our hearts are heavy with sadness for Shane and his family. Shane was an awesome person. He always had a big smile for us when we would see him and that made you feel good. The twinkle in his eye was meant for you. Once when visiting Fort McMurray, the first thing Shane wanted when we saw him was a big hug ! • My condolences to Shane Savory's family and friends. I am deeply saddened and shocked by Shane's passing. My best memory of Shane was when he was ring bearer at my wedding. Even as a wee little man he knew the value of money thus refusing to co-operate unless he received a looney for each picture taken and task that was expected of him. His pockets were overflowing with loonies and he had the biggest most beautiful smile on his face. I will always think of Shane as a beautiful person inside and out.
