Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • My Aunt Tina was always so very kind to me as a child, and always. Me and my cousin Rick Martens talked only a short time ago about going to visit her. "She would really like that" he said. Rick passed away, and we never did make it there. Shortly after Rick's passing, I made plans to go see her, only to learn she had died just a month or so ago. I was so sorry that I missed the oportunity to go visit her once again, as it had been quite a few years since I had seen her. I was hoping to chat with her and get some details about my Grandpa Martens, who was her brother. He was the man that I respected most in my life and always will. Rick and I both agreed that when we die, that we hoped that Grandpa Martens would be there to greet us. Aunt Tina and my Grandpa were both the kind of people that this world just has too few of. Seeing her in her last years is truly my loss, and I would gladly turn back time to change that. I know that God has taken her home, and that she is enjoying all the rewards that some-one as special as her is entitled to. I Love You Aunt Tina!!! - Posted by: Robert Martens (Great Nephew) on: Oct 10, 2012
