Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGABRIELLE THIOUX March 24, 1947 - May 30, 2012 It is with great sorrow that we must accept the passing of our much beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Gabrielle. Suddenly on May 30, 2012, at St. Boniface Hospital with her family by her side, Gaby passed into eternal life. Gabrielle was predeceased by her husband, Philippe Thioux and father, Yves Kerbrat. She leaves to mourn her only beloved son Christian, and grandson, Chase, her pride and joy. Mother, Christiane Kerbrat; five brothers, Laurent (Barb), Marcel (Shirley), Andre, Alain (Marie), and Henri of St. Laurent; in-laws, Lucien and Jacqueline Thioux; sisters-in-law, Beatrice (John) and Christine of Winnipeg. Born in St. Laurent, she completed her studies, and moved to Winnipeg where she met the love of her life, Philippe. She worked at Mount Carmel Clinic as a Medical Records Clerk for 15 years from where she retired in 2003. From there, she unpretentiously volunteered her time at St. Boniface Hospital. The family wishes to thank all of the doctors, the Chaplain at the hospital, and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for their kindness, Father Dominique Kerbrat (Uncle) for the service, and Desjardins Funeral Chapel for their assistance during this difficult time. Also, a special thank you to Shirley Houlden for her personal attention to Gaby. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 375 Des Meurons Street, St. Boniface. Throughout her 8 years as a volunteer with St. Boniface Hospital, Gabrielle was dedicated to serving the patients, families and visitors. We will all remember her infectious laugh that came from the heart. She was a gentle and kind individual that always had a smile for everyone. She proudly spoke of her son and grandson and shared that she always looked forward to their visits.
