GERARDA MARIE PEPPER (nee VERSTRAETE) Gerarda Marie Pepper (nee Verstraete) of Portage la Prairie, MB, formerly of Swan Lake, MB passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Lions Prairie Manor in Portage la Prairie, MB at the age of 82 years. Left to mourn Gerarda's passing are daughters Marlene (Wayne) Burnside of Austin, MB, Diane Kerr of Victoria, BC, and Anita (Ken) Warcimaga of Winnipeg Beach, MB, sons Raymond (Vicki) Jarnouin of Gladstone, MB and Glen Campbell of Beausejour, MB, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sister Alice (Tony) Potvin, as well as stepchildren Garth Pepper, Linda (Larry) Follis, Karen (Malcolm) Scott, Bonnie (Pete) Bokhurst and Brenda McCannelle and their families. Gerarda was predeceased by her husband, Jim Pepper, son Joseph Jarnouin, grandson Calvin Jarnouin, stepson Larry Pepper, first husband Louis Jarnouin, and parents Theophiel and Alberta (nee De Feau) Verstraete. United Church Funeral Service will be held at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake, MB at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012, with Rev. Allison Halstead officiating. Interment to follow in Swan Lake Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will be held in the Swan Lake Community Hall. Everyone is welcome.
