MEREL LEMKEY (nee HAMMOND) 1922 - 2012 On Friday, June 1, 2012 at Salem Home, Merel Lemkey, aged 89 years of Winkler, MB, formerly of Winnipeg, went to her eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Donna and Jack Lumsden of Winkler, granddaughter, Kathryn and Paul Dueck of Landmark, two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Gillian, as well as one brother. She was predeceased by her husband Arnold in 1999, one sister and one brother. Graveside service was held on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Winkler Cemetery with David Friesen officiating.
