JOHN (EDDIE) EDMOND POTT October 25, 1920 - June 8, 2012 Peacefully on June 8, 2012, at the age of 91, Dad entered into eternal rest. Left to cherish his memory are his son Wayne (Simonne), daughter-in-law Lorna, grandchildren, Beverley (Kevin), Derek (Marla) and Jason (Micheline), great-grandsons, Troy, Dayne and Niklas, sisters Margaret, Mavis (Walter), brothers Ray (Mildred), Lorne (Dorothy), sisters-in-law Velma and Eileen. Dad was predeceased by his wife Maria in October 1969, and son Brian in February 2011, brothers Gordie, Ernie and Albert, sisters Tillie, Bertha, Evelyn, parents Thomas and Doris, brothers-in-law Anton and Norman, sister-in-law Ina. Special thank you to the staff at the Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion that you gave to Dad in his final days. Celebration of Eddie's life will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, in the Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery Crematorium Chapel at 10:00 a.m. John, Eddie, Dad, Grandpa and Granddad you meant something special and different to everyone who knew you by each of these names, but there is one thing we all have in common, we all love you. You will be in our hearts and memories until we meet again. Goodbye for now and rest in peace. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
