MYRTLE MARGARET HUNTER It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Myrtle Margaret Hunter on June 12, 2012 at the age of 89 years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Raised in Balmoral, MB, Myrtle left school at an early age to help with the raising of the family and the chores around the farm. After raising her own family, she generously donated her time as a volunteer at Grey Street United Church and was a volunteer at the Concordia Hospital gift shop for 25 years. She was a considerate and selfless soul all her long life. Myrtle was predeceased by her loving husband Hector Thompson Hunter, and her siblings George, Madge, Harry and Muriel. Left behind to cherish her memory is her younger brother Art; her children Helen (Joe), Ruth (Joe), Brian (Barb), Charles (Susan), and Shirley; and her precious grandchildren Peter, Richard, Kelly, Matthew, Daniel, Kerri, Chelsea, Tyler and Kenneth. Also remembering her are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 15 at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard with interment to follow in Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley Street. Thank you to Bethania Personal Care Home for all the love and care they gave to Myrtle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Myrtle's memory to The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada, The Winnipeg Humane Society or Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home. We will love you and miss you always. THOMSON IN THE PARK 925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com
