GERARDO MELCHOR October 3, 1925 June 18, 2012 Gerardo passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side aged 86 years. He is survived by his seven daughters (in Winnipeg: Rebecca Dale, Zennie Almazan, Maria Vargas, Rosana Marion; and in the Philippines: Flordeliza Cansanay, Floralinda Banaag, Angelita Dela Cruz) and two sons (in Montreal, Nicanor Melchor and in the Philippines, Danilo Melchor), 30 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren plus three coming soon. Lamay will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd, Winnipeg, MB on Friday and Saturday, June 22 and 23 commencing at 6:00 p.m. and concluding at the request of the family. Prayers will be said at 8:30 p.m.. on Friday evening with Monsignor Florentino Baynosa officiating. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, June 25 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peters Roman Catholic Church 748 Keewatin St. Monsignor Enrique Samson Jr. celebrant.
