YAROSLAW (JERRY) HANUSCHAK Suddenly, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Jerry passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Jerry was born in Durban, Manitoba, on March 27, 1941. As a young boy the family moved to Winnipeg where he obtained his education, graduating from Sisler High School. Predeceased by his father and mother, John and Katherine Hanuschak; sister and brother-in-law Mary and Paul Iwanchuk and brother-in-law Bill Didora, he is survived by his two sisters, Anne Didora and Vera Duprat (John) both of Winnipeg, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Jerry was employed for many years in the window installation industry and travelled extensively in Manitoba and Ontario. Earlier in his life, he was involved as a volunteer with the Western Canada Aviation Museum which led to his love of building model airplanes and aircraft restoration. Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Interment will follow on Friday, June 29 at All Saints Cemetery. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193
