GARTH VINCENT FOSTER Garth was born on March 12, 1925, and peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at the breakfast table of his home near Clandeboye. He was 87. Suffering from their loss are his loving wife Irene; his daughters and sons-in-law - Laura and Joachim Tutlies; Barb and Bruce Nicoll; Sandy and Gerry Hansma; Deb and Art Preachuck; his son Garvin and favorite daughter-in-law Lil Foster; and youngest daughter and son-in-law Lea and Dean Clarke. Also missing their grandpa are his grandchildren James Kitchen; Ruth and Tom Pardoski; Andrea and Al Munz; Landrew and Natalie Nicoll; Cam Nicoll; Pam and Mark Sumner; Steven and Carla Preachuk; Erin and Ken Kerby; Garrett and Kaitlyn Clarke; along with his great-grandchildren, Malory Barbeli; Merenna and Eisla Kerby; Karas, Clay and Corbin Munz; Fynn Kitchen and Gabriel Pardoski. Garth was raised by his uncle John McNabb and his grandparents Jacob and Henrietta McNabb who were pioneers of the Clandeboye farm where he lived all his life. He told everyone that he got his education on the Netley Marsh where his uncle had land that they farmed and hayed. Besides being an avid trapper and hunter he bought an International truck in 1947, and continued trucking sand and gravel until a year before his death. He loved horses and was a leader of the 4-H horse club for 15 years. He was an original member of the Frontier Ropers and Riders 1965, and continued with the St. Andrews Ag. Society in their horse shows and rodeo into it becoming the Selkirk Triple Fair Rodeo. He loved his family without reservation. They were his pride and joy. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30 at the Clandeboye United Church the corner of hwy. #9 and Clandeboye Road. Viewing one hour prior to service. Interment to follow in churchyard cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Garth's memory to the Clandeboye United Church, Box 149, Clandeboye, MB R0C0P0.   • I was borne in 1932 and until 1952 when I moved to Alberta "Bunt" was like an older brother I never had. He was a good guy and Trene I'm sure you have had a wonderful life together.
