Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS JULES JOSEPH GRENIER April 22, 1953 June 29, 2012 With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of a very special and dear husband, father and brother. Dennis was a very sensitive, kind person who would give the shirt off his back. Born and raised in St. Boniface with the kindest, most loving parents one could possibly have. Professionally he attained a journeyman painter's ticket and settled in at St. Boniface General Hospital as a full time painter. In March 1990, after dating for 10 years he married Jacqueline Wishnowski and had two children Kyle and Daniel, the absolute joys of his life. Dennis lost his brief and strenuous battle with cancer, never complaining once. He was predeceased by his father Armand Grenier of St. Lobb, MB in March of 1990 and by his mother Mary Grenier (nee Madden) in March of 1993. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Jacqueline Grenier, sons Kyle and Daniel, Sister Pat Case, Shawn, Cheryl, Sheena, mother-in-law Ann Wishnowski, Bob Desrochers, very special friend and roommate Kim Rochicco, many friends, nieces and nephews, cousins. And so to you my friend this is not goodbye, but so long until it is our turn to reach for the spirit in the sky and take your hand to the other side. With the ties that bind and the forces that be you have our hearts, always and forever. Dennis you are the most courageous, honest, brave person we will ever have the privilege of knowing and we will miss you forever. In keeping with Dennis' wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. Rest in Peace Dennis, Much Love always and forever. God Grant me the serenity to accept The things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can And the wisdom to know the difference.
