GAETANO INFANTINO It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Gaetano Infantino after a lengthy illness. Gaetano leaves behind to mourn his wife Pina, his children Franca, Sal (Cathy), Rosy (Paulo); his grandchildren Anthony, Gaetan, Gaetano, Stefanie and step-grandchildren Lucas and Katarina. He was born January 8, 1930 in Ioppolo, Agrigento, Italy. Our dad was proud, strong and ambitious all his life. He became a Carabiniere (R.C.M.P.) in 1955. In 1958 he decided to venture to Montreal, Canada. Dad worked in construction and was a part of Expo 67. He returned to Italy and married the love of his life (our mother) in 1960 and were together for 52 years. In 1969 he moved his young family to Winnipeg and started a business. He worked hard but enjoyed taking his family for summer holidays, gardening and spending time with friends. His greatest joys were his four grandchildren, whom he created many memories with.
