JAMES BLANCO July 14, 1955 - July 5, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of James on Thursday, July 5, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents, Marjorie and Laurence. He will be greatly missed by his partner Claudette Beardy; daughters Carla (Rob) and Tara; sons James and Cory (Lisa); brothers Kevin (Donna), Donald and Larry; sister Kathy (Dave) and loving aunt Ester (Bob); numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. James was born in Winnipeg on July 14, 1955. He worked at New Flyer Industries for 15 years, during that time he spent nine years with the CAW. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. James had a keen sense of humour with a natural kindness and a friendly manner. At James' request cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. I met Jim maybe 4 years ago and we had a lot of good times with laughing and what not. The last time I seen him was almost 2 weeks ago, where he gave me a hug and told me he loved me as a friend, I'll always hold that close to me because it's hard to believe you're gone Jim but never forgotten at all. I'll hold your laugh, sense of humor and your kindness close to my heart and always look back on how much of a great person you are.
