MICHAEL STEPHAN BRUCE January 6, 1970 - July 15, 2012 Peacefully, with his family by his side on July 15, 2012, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg at 2:00 in the morning, the angels came and took Michael home at the age of 42 years. Mike will be deeply missed by his father, Glen Bruce; daughters, Michelle, Wyonna, Cherylynn, Natasha and Gillian; sons, Nathan, Marcus and Jadis; grandchildren, Malayna and Justice; sister-in-law, Andrea Bruce; aunties, Irma and Bertha; uncles, Alexander and Bert; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives. Mike was predeceased by his common-law wife, Eldeen Berens; his mother, Mary; brother, Harold; and by his sisters, Sheila, Denise and Ida. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Fairford Chief Garnet Woodhouse, for his support to the family; and to the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre for taking care of Michael. Wake service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Services will take place at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, Manitoba with Pastor Wilfred Bruce officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Helen's Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to ANDERSON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME 1-866-293-4951

  • I miss my father every day, this year is going to be 8 years since he left us. Not a day goes by I don’t think of how things would have been if my mother and father were around.   • Well my cousin I love you and miss you, you're with your family in heaven, I miss you coming around looking for me, and when you found me we talked for hours, God saw you getting tired and took you home...this is not good bye, it is see you later ...I remember when we were kids how we all used to get together in Fairford and play baseball in front of the house, and how we used have such fun..all I can say is I have good memories and will stay with me forever....RIP my cousin - Posted by: Laverne manningway (cousin) on: Jul 18, 2012

  • My uncle was a very loving person. The day the tube came out it was a happy moment cause he had everyone there. He was smiling and talking and giving kisses. My uncle I'm always going to miss u.
