When I started working at Residence Despins she was the first one that welcomed me there with open arms.. We had such a strong relationship after.. There was not a day that went by where we didn't hug each other and she always had this big smile on her face when she seen me.. I remember her favorite tea was peppermint. I am going to miss her so much.. I love you Sis Legassi - Posted by: amy (Friend) on: Jul 21, 2012

God has prepared a wonderful place for you in Heaven; your faith in Jesus and all your accomplishments in His Holy Name have assured us of that. I remember the great times I spent with you and family especially at Christmas. I will always cherish the memories. - Posted by: Jeannine Moquin-Perry (Friend-High School Graduate together) on: Jul 20, 2012

Matante Rolande stars in my fondest chilhood memories. We would make family trips to visit her in Gravelbourg; us kids would count down the days before we could go back and visit this wonderful fun-filled lady. Though she was not really an aunt (more like a third cousin) she just loved us to bits and the feeling was mutual. She will be greatly missed but will continue to live in our hearts forever! God Bless you Matante! - Posted by: Mirielle Smith () on: Jul 19, 2012

My Matante Rolande was a wonderful and giving person. As a child I loved going to visit her at the Provincial House. She always welcomed us with big hugs and kisses. Later in life she did the same for my children Taylor and Carlyn. We would often go visit her there. The girls would have many sleepovers with her, creating tents with blankets and pillows! Matante also loved ice-cream, so most visits consisted of going to Dairy Queen! She always ordered the "Peanut Buster Parfait" She loved us so much and we loved her. She is now in heaven with her parents, Daurila and Albert, brothers and sister, Roland, Henri, Lionel and my mom Marie-Ange. Rest in Peace Matante Rolande, Love you with all my heart! - Posted by: Aline Tataryn (niece) on: Jul 19, 2012
