Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN LINDAHL (nee NYKORUK) January 23, 1924 - July 23, 2012 Peacefully passed away after enduring a number of years with dementia and a short bout with pancreatic cancer. Helen was a kind and loving person with a smile she freely shared with everyone. She was predeceased by her husband Earl and brother Greg and will lovingly be remembered by her son Greg, sisters-in-law Else, Ruby, and Alden, and brothers-in-law Glenn, Laverne, and Richard, and her many cousins and dear friends. Her passion was singing. She sang in her church choir at St. Nicholas, with the Millenium Choir, O.Koshetz Ukrainian Choir, and in earlier days for numerous weddings. A special thank you to the staff at Donwood Personal Care Home for all the kindness, care and love they surrounded her with during her years there. Prayers will be sung 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 27 also at the Church. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the St. Paul's High School Bursary Fund in her name at 2200 Grant Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3P 0P8, (204) 831-2300. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193
