ARTHUR LAGACE With heavy hearts and deep sorrow our family announces the passing of our much loved husband and father Arthur Lagacé on Saturday, July 28, 2012. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years Yvonne; daughter Lorraine; sons Gary (Natalie) and Christopher (Tara); grandchildren Jessie and Joey, Jeremy (Nicole), Ashley, Joshua, Jestin, Arrielle, Braidyn and great-grandchild Darius; twin sister Denise; sisters Florence, Monique, Rachel (Nick), Margaret (Ed); brother Augustine; special friends Ruth, Darrell, Roberta, James, Dave, Aurora, Andrea, Ian and Adam. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Irene; sisters Marie and Angeline; brothers Lawrence, Emmanuel, Bob, Henry, Andrew and Maurice. Arthur was a very gentle man who loved his family. He will be remembered for his zest for life, his daring spirit, his love for dancing and being outside, gardening and hiking. He was very friendly and would talk to everyone he came into contact with. He leaves us all with many joyful memories that will make us smile when we think of him. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of SMHC Tyndall Building Area 5 for their kindness and loving care of our beloved husband and father and our family. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 3 at 11:30 a.m. with viewing half hour prior in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Fr. Dado Parrenas officiating. Interment will follow in the Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Art's memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society Of Manitoba 10-120 Donald St, Winnipeg, MB. R3C 4G2.
