Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN (LIL) ESTHER SCHULTZ Lil passed away peacefully on Monday, August 6, 2012, at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg, at the age of 88 years. Lil was a proud and devoted mother and will be lovingly remembered by her only child Robert Brian Schultz of Toronto, granddaughters Kelly Anne and Katherine (Kate) Elizabeth, brother Ken Stein, one nephew, and several nieces as well as a number of cousins. She was predeceased by brothers Alfred and Edward, and sister Evelyn. Lil was born in Winnipeg on August 21, 1923 and spent approximately 40 years working at Burns Food Ltd. as a first-aid nurse. She lived at the Fred Douglas Lodge for the past three and a half years and the family wishes to thank the staff for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service at a later date in the fall at which time she will be laid to rest next to her loving mother Wanda Stein. A loving grandmother to my very best friend, Kate Schultz! Summer memories of Gram Lil chauffeuring Kate and I around the neighborhood at our beck and call and always offering us anything we wanted or needed. A sweet Grandmother in ever way. I have very fond memories of my "Auntie Lil." She was a very close cousin to my mom Norma. I will always remember her laugh and personality! Condolences and sympathy to Bob, girls and the family.
