Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD STEPHEN MCLEAN December 23, 1932 - August 7, 2012 Our father, brother, uncle, cousin, grandfather and great-grandfather; and the grandson of the first chief of Pinaymootang First Nation (Richard Woodhouse) and Mary Woodhouse; and the baby son of (Eshkwe Gha Bho) Robert and Sarah (nee Woodhouse) McLean. Left to mourn his passing is his only living sister, Priscilla Thompson; his son, Steven Richard Jr.; his daughters, Karen (Aaron) and Sheila (Mark); his grandchildren, Francis, Robert (Katelin), Samantha, Brett, Feliciti, Rainier, Steven #3, Alexander, Jordan and Dallas; and his bossmen' great-grandsons, Aiden, Connor, Carter and Leland; his other grandchildren, the Gould kids, the Stagg kids and the Thompson kids, who he loved as though they were his; also his special nieces and nephews who were around his age whom he grew up with; Milly Gould, Olga Anderson and sisters Maxine Anderson, Eleanor McKay, Florence, Rhoda and Sarah Thompson, brother Noel's girls and sister Louisa's girls; his nephews, Noel's boys, sister Maryanne's boys and Stanley Thompson Sr., and his Lake Manitoba McLean cousins (Lyolde and Clara). The family wishes to say a big thank you to the Fairford homecare workers, Pam Sumner, Maggie Anderson, Dorothy Sumner, nurses Mary Brezzmer, Janice Lowry and Nancy for the time you took caring for him; to Chief Garnet Woodhouse and Council of Pinaymootang First Nation; special thanks to Liz Gould, auntie Priscilla, Eileen Spence, Milly and Donald Gould, Albert and Ali Stagg for their support; and everyone who was there to keep Dad company everyday. Thank you to the Ashern Lakeshore Hospital Dr. Falta, nurse Linda and all the staff; thank you for your time, it's greatly appreciated. We would like to thank his grandchildren for taking the time to take care of their grampa at home. Wake Service will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at The Sanctuary in Fairford, MB The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Helen's Anglican Church.
