Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD WILLIAM MARTIN On August 24, 2012, Edward William Martin passed away at the age of 71 with his loving daughter Joan (Russ) and son Edward (Susan) by his side at his home where he wished to be in his last days. He will be sadly missed by wife Liddy, brother Kenny (Linda), sister Evelyn (Andy), brother Gary, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Edward was born in Winnipeg, MB, on November 9, 1940, and worked as a salesman most of his life. He enjoyed talking and meeting new people. The family would like to thank the nursing staff and doctors at St. Boniface hospital and best friend Terry who spent a lot of time with him in his final days. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 30 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline Street, Selkirk, MB. I met the Martin family in the 1950's at Lavelee School. Ken became a part of our group (The Pages, Walkden & Myself). We had some great times over the years. Eddy was a great guy to be around.
