Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARMANDE (CATELLIER) MARION March 29, 1912 August 27, 2012 After being blessed with a long and fulfilling life of 100 years, our mother, Armande (Catellier) Marion passed away on August 27, 2012, at Action Marguerite Foyer Valade. She is being welcomed in Heaven by her husband Adonai; her daughters Jeannine Ostrom and Laura Penner; her grandson André Morin; her daughterin-law Lucille Marion; her sons-in-law Tony Morin, Dennis Penner and Eric Clark. She was also predeceased by her parents Aldéric and Eugénie (Carrière) Catellier, and nine siblings, her parents-in-law Albert and Antoinette (Dupuis) Marion. Mom will be sadly missed by her children Ernest (Paule), Doris Morin (Albert Combot), Edith Clark, Ronald (Irène), Paulette (Roger) Vermette, Marielle (Gerald) Hoffman, Dale Ostrom, her sister Yvette Dedieu, her in-laws: Armande Catellier, Rita Thornston, Thérèse Catellier, Thèrese and Gerard Marion. Her 15 grandchildren will cherish her memory along with her 21 great-grandchildren. In June, Mom was blessed with her first great-great-grandchild. Her generosity was often acknowledged by the cards and letters she received. Mom loved family gatherings; she would treasure the photos that captured these events. Her love for writing is documented in a family ancestral book --truly a cherished gift she left us! When raising her family, mom made obviously many sacrifices for her children. She devoted her time by being secretary for various organizations especially Les Filles d'Isabelle and the Chalet Malouin. She was a lifelong learner and loved to travel. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to donate to: the Kidney Foundation, Manitoba Branch 1 452 Dovercourt Drive Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4. Funeral Mass will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30 at the Saint-Malo Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Malo, MB with Father Dominic La Fleur officiating. Interment to follow at the parish cemetery. Condolences may be sent to www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca Repose en paix, chère bonne maman! DESJARDINS 233-4949 1-888-233-4949
