CONNIE RONEY (nee DUCZEK) With her family by her side, Mom, Grandma, GG left us to join her loving husband Barry on August 24, 2012. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Sandra and husband Shawn (Jason and great- grandchildren Adin, Jaxson), Jennifer and partner Josh), son Alan and wife Cheryl (Madison and Kristin), brother Al (Maureen), brothers-in-law Bill (Ainsley), Morley, and sisters-in-law Marlene Snyder and Arlene Duczek, along with many nieces, nephews and special friends. She was predeceased by her husband Barry, parents Edward and Eva, brothers Ray, Tom, Jerry and sister Eileen, father/mother-in-law Richard and Mae, brother-in-law Clayton and sister in law Jean. The family thanks Dr. Ratnayake, Dr. Chaudhry and the nurses and staff at the Thompson hospital, as well as Dr. Schroeder for his compassionate care, the special nurses and staff in RR6 at the Health Sciences Centre and Lisa, and Dr. Wong and the staff from the Palliative care team. A private family service was held at the Willmor Chapel in Glenboro. Interment followed at the Wawanesa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Thompson Crisis Centre Inc.
