  • To The Wiggett family. We are sorry and saddened about the news of Clare. Bill & I would definitely have attened the service, however we are on holidays in BC. visting our son and will not be home until Sept 20th. Clare was very loyal on attending both of our parents services and I feel bad that I cannot attend his. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all and mostly to Ken and Kim and their families. Sending our sympathy to all. Love. Bill & Eleanor Trimble - Posted by: Eleanor (Wiggett) & Bill Trimble. (cousin) on: Sep 12, 2012

  • Living in Alberta I never had many chances to spend time with Uncle Clare or Auntie Joan. However, I got the chance to visit on few occasions when my company would send me to Winnipeg to visit clients. One time, not long after Auntie Joan was confined to a wheelchair, I dropped by the house for a quick visit. It was a great time and, as the afternoon slipped away I felt that it was time to go. Uncle Clare would have none of it. "Well, Jesus Christ, you have to stay and eat with us!" What could I do? Soon, Uncle Clare was cooking up pork chops on the stove and, along with mashed potatoes and a mushroom soup sauce, dinner was quickly on the table. Now, bear in mind, that with my job I get the chance to eat at some of the best and most expensive restaurants in Winnipeg all the time. I can honestly say that I have never had a meal that good in Manitoba. - Posted by: Ray Leather (Nephew) on: Sep 11, 2012
