JOSEPH P. LEMOINE
Date of Passing: Sep 16, 2012
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH P. LEMOINE It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Lemoine on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Victoria General Hospital. Joe was 11 days shy of celebrating his 81st birthday. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Joe is survived by his wife of 53 years, Claudette (Arnal); his children, Claude (Doris), Ginette (Paul) and Marc (Francine); his seven grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Sylvain (Julie), Damien, Danica, Serge (Dominique), Christine, Marie-Josée and Dominique; his brother Paul, sisters, Rachel and Sister Marguerite, and many sisters and brothers-in-law and nephews and nieces. Joe was predeceased by his parents Adolphe and Ida Lemoine, his brothers, Etienne and Marius, along with numerous sisters and brothers-in-law. Joe was born and raised in Ste. Agathe, Manitoba where he worked hard and enjoyed life to its fullest. He was dedicated to his community having sat on the community hall committee, having helped to maintain and improve Camille Park, and as an active member of the Knights of Columbus, to name a few. As he grew older, he loved to tinker, collect and fix things. He enjoyed watching the Habs on television but mostly, he was fond of his visits from his children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank Doctors Prenovault and Bilke and the staff at the Victoria General Hospital, in particular, Debbie, for the excellent care and attention given to Dad. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at Ste. Agathe Catholic Church on Saturday, September 22 at 1:00 p.m. Interment of cremated remains will take place immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 2E8. Pepère, tu nous as toujours fait rire et tu t'es bien occupé de nous. Il est temps maintenant que tu te reposes. Tu vas beaucoup nous manquer et tu seras toujours dans nos pensées et nos coeurs. Nous t'aimons! I will miss Ti-Joe and his help in deciphering our family tree. He always had many fantastic stories, to which I could listen for hours. It was always a pleasure to visit Ti-Joe & Claudette. I will miss him a lot. My prayers & sympathies are with the family. - Posted by: Leonard Lemoine (2nd cousin) on: Sep 24, 2012

Deepest sympathy to the Lemoine family..when I was just a young man, I still remember my dad building a dairy barn for Mr. Lemoine, you could see the pride in his face...he supplied milk for a long time... - Posted by: paul levesque (family aquaintance) on: Sep 21, 2012

My deepest sympathies to everyone. I have fond memories as a child with my parents going to Mon-oncle Ti-Joe's farm and picking up a jar of milk. My parents and Joe and Claudette were longtime friends. Repose en paix Mon-oncle Ti-Joe! Tu es dans les bras de Jesus! A la prochaine!! - Posted by: Darlene & Jacques Sorin (2nd generation friends/classmate of Claude) on: Sep 20, 2012
